Holiday Cancellation Policy (November-December)

We are looking forward to seeing you for your holiday appointment.  Due to increased demand during the busy holiday season, we do require a 7 day notice of any appointment rescheduling or cancellations.  Any appointment cancellation less than 7 days advance notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee of your service booked.  

Booking Fee is due prior to rescheduling any appointment. 

Due to this increase in demand we can not guarantee to fit you back on your preferred stylists schedule prior to January 5, 2023 if any adjustments are made to your appointment after this booking.    If your service is canceled with less than 48 hours notice, the full service amount will be charged.

 

Appointment Cancellation Policy (January-October)

Service Providers at Fox & Rose Salon have a 48 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy.

If you cancel, reschedule or change your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of  your service scheduled.

If you cancel, reschedule or change your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged 100% of  your service scheduled.

This policy is in place out of respect for our stylists and clients.  Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are difficult to fill.  By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot.

At Fox & Rose we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is rude, hostile or disrespectful towards any of our team members or clients at any time.  We are committed to always providing an elevated experience with kindness and respect to all.

 

"NO-SHOWS"

Non-cancellations or "NO-SHOWS" will be charged 100% of the original service booked to be paid to your stylist at your next scheduled visit.  In the event you have more than 2 missed appointments without contacting the salon, you will be unable to schedule future appointments.  However, you may be considered as a walk-in.  

 

Late Guests Policy

We understand "life happens".  If for any reason you are expecting to be late by 10 minutes or more to your scheduled appointment, please call us! (408) 395-8120 or contact your stylist directly.  

 

We work very hard to schedule the right amount of time for each service.  Accommodating late guests is often impossible without disrupting every other guests schedule that day.  Please be aware in the unfortunate event you are late, we cannot guarantee that your services will be performed that day or performed in full.  It may also result in an incomplete service and affect the quality of your service.  Tardiness may require rescheduling your appointment for another day.  

 

Confirmations

As a courtesy, we send text or emails to notify you of your appointment date and time.  You will receive an email or text message if we have your information on file.  We confirm in advance as a courtesy because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago.  However, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times and inform us if your contact information has changed.  

 

Child Safety Policy

Children are ONLY permitted in the salon or spa area when the child is receiving a service.  For safety reasons, no child under the age of 12 may accompany you while you are having a service.  We do not have the facilities to care for children.  We love children, and we hope you understand that we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment.  We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests.  Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

To Our Current and Future clients of the salon,

          We write this notice with the utmost respect to the parents in our salon.  Over half of our staff are parents themselves and understand that this can be a sensitive issue.  Moving forward, we will be implementing a new policy regarding children and their presence in the salon.  We feel as a business, children who visit the salon during their parents' appointments or children who are unattended in the waiting area pose a safety issue.  We work in an environment that has sharp scissors, razors, chemicals and hot curling and flat irons that can reach above 450 degrees.  If something were to happen to your child, it would not only be devastating to you and your family, it would be equally as devastating to us.  

          We encourage parents to visit the salon without their children unless the child has an appointment.  During their appointment, children need to be able to sit still so that the stylist can perform a quality service.

          Please understand that our concern is the safety of your child.  We write this notice without the intent of offending and hope that you will aid us in keeping our salon a safe environment.  Please contact us if you have concerns or questions about our policy. 

Refund Policy

There are NO refunds given for any service performed. Payment is for time and expertise.

Service Guarantee

If there is anything you would like modified from your last service, we must be notified with in 7 days of your appointment, and be able to come back in with in 10 working days from the original appointment scheduled. We will be happy to modify your hair at no additional charge IF the issue is something we caused. However, we are not responsible if you simply changed your mind, or if you take it upon yourself to have your hair modified by another stylist, another salon or your self. Once modifications have been made elsewhere, you forfeit your right to any redo service modification. Service guarantees do not apply to color corrections, as results can be unpredictable.

ALL REFUND REQUESTS AND SERVICE GUARANTEE ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE RESPONDED TO IN WRITING.

Service Consultations

At Fox & Rose salon we are dedicated in performing thorough consultations.  However it is the client's responsibility to be upfront and honest about their hair history.  This allows your service provider to formulate the correct chemicals necessary for your service.  Please be sure to mention any of the the below items as they could negatively impact your color session due to chemical reactions.  

Any Allergies to Bleach Lightener or Hair Color

Any Previous Henna or Vegetable Dye Application

At Home Box Color

Use Of At Color Preserving Products Such As Overtone Co

Previous Color with Metallic Salts/Compounds

Previous Relaxers or Perms

Over Use of Mineralized or Hard Water

Damage from Heat Tools

Previously Over Processed Hair

Brazilian Blowouts or Keratin Treatments

Hair Implants 

Use of any Hair Regrowth Treatments

Any damage caused to the hair or skin as a result of undivulged information during the consultation is not the responsibility of the salon or stylist. 

Hair Product Return Policy

We will issue a full refund on hair products returned and unused within 7 days of purchase.

 

Hair Product Exchange Policy

If you are not happy with the hair product we suggested, we would be happy to issue a product exchange within 30 days of your purchase.  

Payment

We accept Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay, GPay and Cash.  A 3% surcharge is added on all credit card transactions.  Cash and Debit Card Transactions will not incur this fee. 

Damaged Products

We will replace any damaged product (pump failure, etc.) with proof of purchase if returned before 30 days and as long as item is not expired.  If your damaged item is no longer available at time of return, you will be issued an exchange for product only or store credit towards product only.  

 

Boutique, Hair Brushes, Hot Tools & Sale Items

All boutique sales (jewelry, fragrance, decor, etc...), hair brushes, curling irons, flat irons and sale items are FINAL SALES.

Gift Cards/Certificates

NO refunds will be given for gift card purchases.  Gift Certificates are NOT redeemable for cash.
